MP3's of Parrot Calls
These calls are to help you find your bird in the event your parrot escapes. The calls are MP3’s which can be downloaded onto any portable MP3 player such as an ipod. Portable speakers that attach to MP3 players can be purchased usually for under $10 US at most electronics stores. If you are searching for your bird, we recommend you play the parrot call that most closely corresponds to your species of parrot. After you play the call, stop and listen for a response. Many parrots are found because they vocalize loudly when they hear another parrot call.
We do recommend you record your own parrot vocalizing to keep on hand if necessary. However if you have not done this, we have provided a collection of parrot calls below. We have tried to collect as many species as possible. However we do apologize if your species is not represented.
Bare Eyed Cockatoo or Little Corella
Major Mitchell's Cockatoo or Leadbetter's Cockatoo
Pyrruha Conures (green cheeked)
